SACRED REICH: Wacken Open Air Show Filmed For Possible DVD Release

August 9, 2007

Bassist/vocalist Phil Rind of the reunited Arizona thrashers SACRED REICH has sent the following update to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"Got back [from the band's short European tour] a few days ago. We had a great time. We had a lovely few days off in London and Paris. All the shows were roaring. It was amazing to see the reaction at the shows. Frankly, we didn't know what to expect, and the response exceeded our wildest expectations. The Wacken [Open Air] show [in Wacken, Germany] was filmed and there seems to be some interest for a DVD of the show. We'll see. Next up we'll play a few songs for Dana [Wells, SOULFLY/ex-SEPULTURA frontman Max Cavalera's stepson] at SOULFLY's D-Low Memorial Show [on August 31 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona]. Maybe we can get Max to do 'One Nation' with us."

Fan-filmed video footage of reunited Arizona thrashers SACRED REICH performing the song "Ignorance" at the Dynamo club in Eindhoven, Netherlands on August 2, 2007 has been posted on YouTube.

Professionally shot photos of SACRED REICH's July 21, 2007 concert at the Venue of Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona have been posted at this location.
